Master programs and postgraduate courses starting in the second semester are paths that typically follow the academic year. Those are paths attended by graduates and young professionals after graduation, bachelor or master degree, to become men and women of success. Usually these programs begin in September or October, more rarely in November or December, and almost never in the summer, in July or August. Boys and girls choose to become students of these higher education courses which can then last for many months, even years, to complete their specialization in Italy or abroad, in the case of international master. The second semester, students begin to follow the lectures and attend the various activities. In some cases they choose this starting period because the previous six months they have taken part to a pre master or a preparatory course to fill specific gaps on subjects covered in the program of the second semester.
