EU’s Communication & Public Relations program will keep you connected and prepares you for the demands of this fast-paced, exciting field.

As an entry-level communications specialist, you may land jobs that involve:

  • media relations
  • employee communications
  • web-based communications

Graduates work as communication specialists with:

  • multinational corporations
  • public relations agencies
  • hospitals and health care providers
  • government ministries and agencies
  • trade associations
  • not-for-profit organizations
  • financial institutions
  • entertainment companies

The topics covered in this major include structuring public relations campaigns, ethics, media strategy and planning, organizational communication and oration in a variety of contexts.

All applicants should submit the following documents_

  • Completed application form
  • 1 copy of bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and transcripts
  • Proof of English fluency: TOEFL score 213 (computer-based), 80 (internet-based); IELTS 6.0; CAE C; PTE 54; English native or equivalent*
  • 2 letters of recommendation (use of PPI recommended, see below)
  • 1 written or video essay
  • 1 copy of CV/résumé
  • 3 passport-size photos
  • Copy of passport
  • Bank letter certifying the applicant’s financial solvency

Criteria for assessing applications:

  • Motivational interview

Applicants must also meet two of the following:

  • A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • A satisfactory score on the GMAT or GRE
  • 2+ years of professional work experience (may include military service)
  • An interview with the Dean
