Students of the Master in Creative Advertising of NABA will focus on the development of different skills in copywriting, storytelling and art-direction, in order to design ADV campaigns.

This one-year master’s program focuses on innovative and effective advertising techniques that get customers thinking, talking—and buying. The course covers all media in which advertising appears—from print, radio, and TV to the Web and social media. You will prepare to enter the creative departments of advertising agencies by learning how to solve problems creatively and how to convey ideas to others in a concise and persuasive way. Students will enhance their portfolios, thanks to the participation in prestigious international creative competitions. Upon completing the workshops, students will be offered the opportunity to undertake work placements.

To complete the Master’s program, students will be required to produce a dissertation project, which will be evaluated by a panel of faculty and external professionals. Eligible graduates will receive an Academic Master’s Degree awarded by NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research.

PROFESSIONAL PERSPECTIVES

Graduates in Master in Creative Advertising will have the theoretical and technical abilities to take on various professional roles within advertising including

  • art director,
  • graphic designer,
  • copywriter,
  • creative storyteller,
  • creative account manager,
  • advertising consultant,
  • product and/or brand manager,
  • promotion and PR manager,
  • communication planner.

Graduates may also work in TV or radio stations, creative departments, corporate marketing departments, design consultancies or studios, public relations companies, or publishing.

CURRICULUM

Classes include: Advertising, Sociology of Cultural Processes, Project Design, Art Direction, Audiovisual Documentation Techniques, Digital Technologies and Applications, Integrated New Media.

Masters and courses are recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) as a Master of Arts degree (120 CFs).

Through exchange programmes, NABA's International Office encourages and supports students wishing to study abroad.The office promotes educational experiences at numerous prestigious international partner universities worldwide. Thanks to this vast international network, students at NABA are able to spend periods of study abroad, enriching their educational curriculum and laying the groundwork for increasingly international future careers.International study opportunities are mainly provided as part of the Erasmus+ project promoted by the European Commission, the International Exchange Program for destinations outside of Europe, the Semester Abroad Program at the Galileo Global Education and short summer courses.NABA counts more than 50 cooperation agreements with European academies and universities through the Erasmus+ Programme; the Academy also counts more than 20 international cooperation agreements with several universities outside Europe.
