You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of advanced design and analysis techniques, the use of modern materials and manufacturing technology. We’ll expand your knowledge in a wide range of mechanical engineering areas and related fields, giving you the scope to be creative and scientific in equal measure.

Our Mechanical Engineering Part-Time course at  ARU, Anglia Ruskin University will equip you with transferrable skills, including IT and management as well as data analysis. As a result you’ll be highly employable in the mechanical engineering marketplace, with a choice of different careers available to you.

Our facilities include a CAD/CAM centre, industrial-scale CNC milling machine, CNC lathe, rapid prototyping machine, scanning electronic microscope, Instron bi-axial fatigue-testing machine, tensile-testing machine, material-preparation facilities, welding equipment and electronic testing and measuring equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generating and testing facilities.
