The demand for quality healthcare is increasing, as rapid advances in treatments and information technologies magnify the expectations of patients and healthcare professionals. At the same time resources are limited as governments trim their healthcare budgets.

Healthcare leaders now need skills in human and financial resources management, leadership, strategic planning and organisational design, an ability to manage complex change, and organisational decision-making. Our MBA gives you the opportunity to develop these skills, while at the same time enhancing your capacity to analyse and understand the complex nature of healthcare, and how it is delivered.

Our MBA will suit you if you're a recent graduate, or a professional with experience of working in the health and/or social care sector. Develop your skills and knowledge and open up a range of career opportunities in senior management and leadership roles, in the UK or around the world.

We recognise the need for a series of exit points which support your personal and professional requirements, and those of the healthcare sector. You can therefore study for a full Masters, or the intermediate awards of Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma. Our MBA is made up of a series of compulsory modules; optional modules are not available. This is to ensure the integrity of the MBA core aims is retained.

Assessment

Your work is assessed through a variety of methods including seminar, group and individual presentations, virtual learning discussion boards with assessed components, mixed methods such as case review presentations with written commentary, and a final research application activity to conclude the course.

Please note that you will need to complete all of the above core modules. This course does not have any optional modules. Modules are subject to change and availability.
