Dealing with the complex environment of modern healthcare requires highly skilled leaders and managers. Our Health Care Management (MBA) Part-Time at ARU, Anglia Ruskin University provides opportunities for you to develop the requisite skills. View our Module Delivery Pattern (PDF) for information on when the modules are being delivered.
The demand for quality healthcare is increasing, as rapid advances in treatments and information technologies magnify the expectations of patients and healthcare professionals. At the same time resources are limited as governments trim their healthcare budgets.
Healthcare leaders now need skills in human and financial resources management, leadership, strategic planning and organisational design, an ability to manage complex change, and organisational decision-making. Our MBA gives you the opportunity to develop these skills, while at the same time enhancing your capacity to analyse and understand the complex nature of healthcare, and how it is delivered.
Our MBA will suit you if you're a recent graduate, or a professional with experience of working in the health and/or social care sector. Develop your skills and knowledge and open up a range of career opportunities in senior management and leadership roles, in the UK or around the world.
We recognise the need for a series of exit points which support your personal and professional requirements, and those of the healthcare sector. You can therefore study for a full Masters, or the intermediate awards of Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma. Our MBA is made up of a series of compulsory modules; optional modules are not available. This is to ensure the integrity of the MBA core aims is retained.
Our MBA will prepare you for operational and senior managerial positions in health and social care, either in the UK or internationally.
