The International Master in Luxury Management (IMLUX) at MIP, POlitecnico di Milano, is a 12-month double degree programme developed in partnership with NEOMA Business School and in collaboration with Prada Group and Champagne Taittinger. The students of IMLUX are dividing their time between studying in Reims, the capital and largest city of the Champagne region in France, and Milan, one of the world’s premier fashion centres.

THE MASTER FOR LUXURY MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONALS at MIP, Politecnico di Milano

It is generally agreed by leading market analysts and industry experts that Luxury Goods routinely perform better than others, even during times of economic downturn. The reason for this lies in their innate ability to meet the demand for the ‘exceptional’ expressed by an increasingly growing number of customers. In order to meet these expectations, Luxury companies require cutting-edge design skills, outstanding craftsmanship, the ability to deliver a unique customer experience and to create strong associations through brand recognition. In order to meet this growing need, MIP Politecnico di Milano and NEOMA Business School have jointly developed the International Master in Luxury Management programme – a full-time 12-month course, which awards an internationally recognised double degree.

Aims

The International Master in Luxury Management seeks to teach the fundamentals of operating in the Luxury goods industry, with a specific focus on enabling students with a managerial background to acquire a keen awareness and the attributes that will enable them to assume the broader tasks and responsibilities unique to the luxury brands industry.

The International Master in Luxury Management is a 12-month Master programme offered by MIP Politecnico di Milano and NEOMA Business School, which seeks to teach the fundamentals of operating in the Luxury goods industry, with a specific focus on enabling students with a managerial background to acquire a keen awareness and the attributes that will enable them to assume the broader tasks and responsibilities unique to the luxury brands industry. The programme also includes the following practical activities: lessons, seminars held by international lecturers, workshops on soft skills empowerment, company presentations, project work in collaboration with companies, company visits.
The master is entirely taught in English.

Please note that this programme is designed for fresh graduates with ideally no more than 3 years of work experience. Candidates who have have more than 3 years of work experience may also consider our International MBA programs.

Students will spend one term in Reims followed by one term in Milan and then by a third term at both institutions.
