The  MSc in Management at Cranfield School of Management is a full-time 13-month programme designed for graduates with little or no previous professional experience. The programme will equip you with the knowledge, skills and understanding you need to succeed in business. It will give you the confidence to tackle complex business challenges and prepare you to take on demanding managerial roles in the future.

Through your studies, you will gain a sound understanding of core management theories, concepts and techniques, and learn how to apply them in real-life situations.

Course key facts

You will learn about both the functional dimensions of management such as strategic management, operations, finance and marketing, and cross-functional aspects such as corporate responsibility, management consultancy, entrepreneurship and innovation.

Once your online application has been submitted, it will be processed by our admissions team within four to six weeks and if successful, we will invite you for interview.

We encourage you to come to Cranfield for your interview but appreciate that this is not always possible. If you are based outside Europe and are unable to travel to the UK, we will arrange a telephone of Skype interview.

If, following your interview, you are successful, an offer letter will be emailed to you within two weeks. You will then have a further four weeks to confirm your place and pay your deposit of £1,000. 

Criteria for assessing applications:

  • Language test and/or interview
  • GMAT
  • Assessment interview
  • Degree (or equivalent Bachelors Degree)
  • or a professional qualification and not more than three years' relevant work experience 

The course director may also require you to take GMAT (minimum score 600) 
If English is not your first language, you must take one of the following:

  • Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) – a minimum score of 800 is required (part 1). 
  • IELTS – band 6.5 is required, with writing of 6.5 
  • The programme is designed for candidates with less than three years' work experience.
