The Master of Arts in Fashion and Textile Design of NABA is an intensive project-based degree.
During this two-year program, you will explore innovative fashion tools and manufacturing processes and the myriad creative possibilities they afford. You’ll develop the capacity to translate ideas into your own fashion language, and you’ll hone your ability to analyze and critique fashion design at a high level.
The program’s main courses rely heavily on project work. By the end of your studies, you will have a portfolio of projects focusing on fashion and textile design. Your work will also integrate elements of accessories and costume design, visual and written storytelling, photography, graphic design, and hat making.
Experienced fashion professionals will mentor you in building a personalized skill set as part of crafting your identity as a fashion designer. Whereas in most schools industry professionals have the role of visiting professors, in this program they lead a full design mentorship experience, monitoring and guiding the development of each student’s individual style and approach to the craft.
