If you study this MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management, you will study the first semester at the University of Westminster, and then have the choice either to continue studying in London or to spend the second semester at our partner institution in the Netherlands. You will not only benefit from the wider range of module choices, but also from the opportunity to study in two countries.During the third semester you will work on a research-based dissertation. It is expected that you will spend the equivalent of three to four months’ full-time work on this research. The MSc course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), and graduates are exempt from the Institute’s exams.

The Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc at University of Westminster has been designed to develop your ability to carry out advanced analysis and research in the field of logistics and supply chain management within a global context. The MSc course has been running since 1998 and is offered by the Department of Planning and Transport.

If you are unable to study for a full Master's course, we also offer a Logistics and Supply Chain Management Postgraduate Diploma and a Logistics and Supply Chain Management Postgraduate Certificate.

Indicative timetable

Semester 1

You will normally need to attend classes at the university on Tuesday to Friday during Semester One.

Semester 2

In Semester Two, attendance is normally on Wednesday, Friday and one other day (dependent on the option module chosen). Additional events are occasionally scheduled for other days, so students are expected to be available Monday to Friday.

We include lots of industry speakers within the course and students are encouraged to attend the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) events held frequently in London.

(CIH) Chartered Institute of Housing, TMI (Tourism Management Institute), CIAT (Chartered institute of architectural technologists), RTPI (The Royal Town Planning Institute)

  • Applicants with a Laurea Specialista, Diploma di Laurea, Corso di Laurea (prior to 1999), Licenza di Accademia di Belle Arti, Bachelors, Diploma Universitario with a minimum overall degree score of 90 can be considered for a relevant Masters programme.  
  • Exceptionally, consideration will be given to mature applicants who lack standard qualifications but have significant professional or managerial experience in a programme-related post.
