Doctor of Philosophy or PhD is a postgraduate degree lasting from three up to five academic years. Subjects of a PHD can be philosophy, theology, law, medicine or liberal arts. It is a program for boys and girls interested becoming men and women with a career as teacher or lecturer.
Graduates with a bachelor's or master's degree in economy may become men and women with careers in the administration of a company or accounting or a public institution thanks to a master's degree in accounting. The powers transferred during these postgraduate courses of higher education in accounting or bookkeeping are very technical (double entry, financial statements, debit/credit, revenues/costs).
