Master of Research or MRes is a postgraduate research program for graduates, men and women or young professional considering a career in research or in a commercial area where research is a key focus but a PhD is not specifically required. Master of Research or MRes programs are different from taught Master's degrees by placing particular emphasis on a large dissertation. These paths are geared to boys and girls with bachelor's degree and have a duration of one year fulltime.
