Cranfield is known for being close to business. For more than 40 years, we have been working with leading companies across the globe, pursuing our mission to improve the practice of sustainable management. Cranfield is one of the early signatories to the UN Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRIME), and focuses on teaching and enhancing long-term social, environmental and sustainable business practices.
Whilst studying the Cranfield MSc in Management and Corporate Sustainability you will have the opportunity to attend the annual MIT Sustainability Summit at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA, as part of a three day optional study tour.
The Summit has grown to include more than 350 attendees and brings together professionals, academics and students to discuss key sustainability challenges. Presentations from influential thought leaders and expert practitioners combine with interactive workshops and provide the opportunity for you to brainstorm solutions to real sustainability problems with a diverse international audience. This will expose you to the very latest thinking in the area of sustainability, to discuss ideas with experts in the field and to build a network of useful contacts.
This course is suitable for those who wish to pursue a career in management with a focus on corporate sustainability, and for those in the early stages of their career who are keen to learn how to embed sustainability thinking into their role.
Cranfield bridges the gap between the corporate and academic worlds to promote sustainable business management. Our close connections within industry have enabled us to create and develop a 'community of practice' in the field, in which we serve as researchers, mentors and educators.
The Cranfield MSc in Management and Corporate Sustainability is a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) dual accreditation degree.
You will have the unique opportunity to stand out from other management graduates by achieving CMI’s professional management qualification alongside your Cranfield degree.
The CMI is the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence. It is the only organisation awarding Chartered Manager status, the hallmark of any professional manager, and encompasses a membership community more than 100,000 strong.
